Description

John Romita Sr. - Frederick from Frankenstein Concept Design Original Art (undated). A full-figure and head study introduces Frederick, a proposed character for Marvel's The Monster of Frankenstein. John Romita's design shows his early 1970s influence on Marvel monster concepts, later realized by Mike Ploog. The sketch's exact purpose remains unknown. Drawn in graphite on tracing paper with an image area of 10" x 8". Page is lightly toned. Bottom corners are faintly creased. Signed by Romita in the lower right corner. In Excellent condition.
