John Buscema Conan the Rogue Unfinished/Unused Story Page Original Art (Marvel Comics, 1991). A double-sided glimpse of a work-in-progress -- unfinished, in the sense that Buscema obviously had reconsidered the composition before the inking could be completed; and yet partially finished, inasmuch as the basic pencil-art is substantially in place. The primary image (essentially an internal splash) depicts a ferocious struggle. The inset, lower right, depicts an appropriate reaction to the carnage. Buscema's pride of authorship is patent in his prominent autograph. The reverse contains an array of pencil sketches in various stages. Bristol board, with an image area of 10" x 15". Light toning and smudging. Very Good condition.
