DescriptionJim Starlin Strange Tales #178 Warlock Splash Page 19 Original Production Art (Marvel, 1975). One of the true highlights of Marvel's Bronze Age was the highly imaginative Warlock series by Jim Starlin, which began with the 19-page "Who is Adam Warlock?" story featured in Strange Tales #178. Here is the monumental final splash page to that first story by Starlin, introducing the demi-god Magus. Please note that this production art page consists mostly of printed photostat images of the main figures -- the only hand-inked original art elements are the touch-ups that appear throughout the piece. Ink and white paint on photostatted paper, attached to a backing sheet of Bristol board, with word balloons pasted on. Overall Very Good condition.
