Description
Jim Davis and Studio Garfield Daily Comic Strip Preliminary Group of 113 (PAWS/Universal Press Syndicate, 2001). The preliminary production materials for dailies from the first half of 2001 are included in this group. They include a combination of approximately 113 pieces of preliminary art and many photocopies. Each Garfield comic strip is derived from these initial sketches, conceived by Jim Davis and his comic strip creative team. The pages are all 11" x 8.5". The original art pieces are ink, graphite, and colored pencil on paper and are in Excellent condition.From the Jim Davis Collection.
