    Description

Jamie Hewlett Tank Girl #2 Story Page 2 Askey and Hunch Color Production Art (Titan, 2002). The Askey and Hunch stories were a ribald parody of TV's beloved 1970s unconventional detectives Starsky & Hutch. From the story "Downtown Crime", this page features Askey, Hunch, and even guest-star Pubic Bear (a parody of series regular "Huggy Bear"). It's a trippy, whacked-out page from that master of trippy whacked-out art, Jamie Hewlett! Created by printing Hewlett's line art on a clear overlay which was then painted from the reverse side much like an animation cel. This acetate sheet was then taped to a Bristol board with a taped-off image area of 10" x 13.5". In Excellent condition. NOTE: Only the color work is original art.
