DescriptionHoward Swift Fantastic Four Complete Animation Storyboards for Origin Episode Group of 43 (Hanna-Barbera, 1967). Surely many kids learned the origin of the Fantastic Four for the first time via this animated version. This was the third FF episode to air, with an air date of September 23, 1967. The story parallels the first part of Fantastic Four #1 but also includes Doctor Doom's origin with some familiar scenes from Fantastic Four Annual #2. The storyboards are by animator Howard Swift, whose career included working on such Disney features as Dumbo in the 1930s and 1940s. Graphite on 43 sheets of 12.5" x 10" paper. Smudging, and some of the pages have edge wear. Good condition.
