DescriptionGil Kane Amazing Spider-Man #148 Preliminary Cover Sketch Original Art (Marvel, 1975). Who can forget a chained Spider-Man being thrown off a bridge to the delight of the Jackal, the Tarantula, and an oddly emotionless Gwen Stacy clone? Very similar to the final cover which did have the viewpoint moved down a bit. Signed. Graphite on a 10.5" by 15.5" sheet of paper that has heavy creasing and edge tears; the ink (marker) is on a sheet of acetate that is attached to the paper and does not appear to be removable. Good condition. From the Ethan Roberts Estate Collection.
