DescriptionGeorge Lee Trimm - Various Pencil and Acrylic Studies Original Art Group of 5 (c. 1930s). Trimm, master of pulp-fiction cover design and painting, produced these conceptual miniature studies in preparation for a variety of magazine covers. Fascinating to see these foundation drawings, especially for their dynamic figure placements and their range from simple outlines to more elaborately developed pieces. The trajectory of a bullet is defined by a burst of yellow and orange. Pencil on Manila sketch paper; oils on canvas. Image areas, 7" x 10". Light toning and occasional marginal staining. Generally Excellent condition.
