DescriptionGeof Darrow Hard Boiled Carl Seltz Disguised as a Woman Pencil Preliminary Illustration Original Art (c. 1990). Hey, Carl Seltz - what's shakin'? Geof Darrow's legendary attention to fetishistic detail is in ample evidence in this large and spectacular panel prelim. Darrow, famous for his Frank Miller collaboration Hard Boiled and for shaping much of the look of the "Matrix" films as one of their primary graphic designers, is known for filling his scenes with every possible piece of minutia, and this eye-popping illo is no exception -- and the flow of the action is almost cacophonous. The art was drawn in pencil on paper and has an overall size of 19.75" x 7.25". The art is in Excellent condition. Signed with the "d-arrow" monogram at the upper right.
