Gary Panter Pee-Wee's Playhouse Preliminary Artwork Original Art Group of 41 (1986). A group of Pee-Wee's Playhouse art that you will love! ("If you love it so much, why don't you marry it?") There is a huge rough layout of the set itself (24" x 19"). Several images of specific characters such as Pterri, Chairy, Randy, and Magic Screen. There is a sheet of drawings of Pee-Wee himself, a panoramic rough layout of the set, an entire group of drawings showing several unused designs for the exterior of the playhouse, and a collection of pages of various oddities and mash-up toys to be included in the playhouse (most of them unused items never before seen). All in all, this is a staggering assembly of 41 pages or art, all from the hand of Gary Panter, who has signed almost every single page. The art is in either graphite or ink marker on onionskin paper, and the majority of them are approximately 12" x 10". Some of the larger ones have been folded previously. The pages are lightly tanned (some more than others), and have edge/corner wear and the occasional small rip (some more than others). Overall they are in Excellent condition. You would have to search the basement of the Alamo for a better deal than this!
