DescriptionEl Tony "El Vampiro y Robert" (Batman and Robin) Sunday Comic Strip Production Art (Editorial Columba, c. 1940). Argentinean newsprint magazine El Tony featured many comic strips translated into Spanish. Then the title of the US comic strip Batman and Robin was translated, it was changed to El Vampiro y Robert (The Vampire and Robert). This item is the actual production art used to create the strip for this magazine. It is composed from clipped images (most probably from the US comic strip featuring Bob Kane art) that were repositioned on Bristol board, with some original line art used to extend the cut-and-paste images to fill the panels. All text is paste-up as well. The page is brittle and tanned with some cracks and a corner missing. Overall in Good condition.
