    Description

Chuck Jones Center for Creativity's Board of Directors Experience
Red Dot Benefiting the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity
You won't be bored with this! Each of the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity's Board of Directors will be contributing something to this package. It includes a signed copy of "100 Worst Ideas in History" by board member Michael Smith. A drawing by award-winning float and theme park designer, John Ramirez, plus several other interesting items. But the keystone of this live auction item is lunch with film director and "Dover Boy", Rob Minkoff. He was one of a group of young students at CalArts who were mentored by Chuck Jones in the 1980s. Minkoff went on to direct "The Lion King", "Stuart Little", and "Peabody". At your lunch, he will personally dedicate the art book "The Art of the Lion King" as well as a poster for "Stuart Little". But that's not all, he has agreed to draw a sketch for you while you dine! The lot is valued at "Priceless"!

    The Organization
The Chuck Jones Center for Creativity is a 501(c)3 public charity located in Orange County, CA. Chuck Jones was a creative genius who gave life to Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote & Bugs Bunny along with over 300 animated films. The Center, which he founded in 1999, is an organization that fosters and teaches creative thinking-the thinking behind problem solving. It's a fact that "creativity" is like a muscle in your brain that needs exercise in order to get and stay healthy. The stronger that muscle is, the better it works in engaging tasks and solving problems. The Center serves as a gymnasium for the brain. We work with disadvantaged youth, school systems without arts programs, people on the autism spectrum, the elderly (many of whom suffer from early onset dementia), and other groups, including corporate clients, who see the value of pumping up creativity in their ranks.

This is a live auction item lot. Please contact Kristen Schultz by email KristenS@HA.com mailto:KristenS@HA.com if you wish to place a proxy bid for this lot.
