Carl Barks - Uncle Scrooge "Pick and Shovel Laborer" Limited Edition Miniature Lithograph Print #4/595 (Another Rainbow, 1993).
As the young Scrooge McDuck used to figure it, he was the richest sourdough ever to swing a spade into the frostbitten banks of the Klondike. In Carl Barks' 1974 oil painting, "Pick and Shovel Laborer," this penchant for digging, shoveling and generally "turning over" the mounds of cash in his fabled money bin continues to possess the miserly elder duck! The sixth miniature lithograph in Another Rainbow's hand-signed and numbered series of limited editions, Pick and Shovel Laborer was the first to feature a paper sculpted finish, three-dimensionally embossed to add depth to the look and feel of the print. The image area is 8" x 10", with an overall paper size of 11" x 13.5", and the print is in Excellent condition. A certificate of Authenticity is included. The print was signed by Carl Barks at the lower right.
