    Description

Bob Clarke Mad Spy vs Spy Preliminary Artwork Original Art (EC, c. 1980s-90s). A group of six Spy vs Spy preliminary drawings in graphite, three on bristol and three on onion skin paper, from the files of the late, great Mad artist Bob Clarke. The pieces on bristol are all roughs; the onion skin drawings are tightly penciled. One is a large panel with a Trojan Horse theme; the other two are one-page strips. In addition, a photocopy of the finished Trojan Horse drawing, on two conjoined pieces of paper, is included. Art image sizes range from 8" x 11" up to 20.5" x 12.5". Two of the onion skin drawings are in Very Good condition with edge wear, small tears, and folds; the others are in Excellent condition. Includes a Heritage Certificate of Authenticity personally signed by Bob Clarke in 2012.
