DescriptionBernie Wrightson Swamp Thing #7 Story Page 4 Preliminary Artwork Batman Original Art (DC, 1973). A rare look at how Bernie Wrightson lays out a page. The last panel featuring Batman is a nice homage to the famous last panel of Batman's origin recap in 1939's Detective Comics #33. This loose prelim is produced in graphite on onionskin paper. Comparing to the published comic, you can see that the middle two panels were completely changed, however the rest of the page is dead-on. The art area measures 10" x 15" and it is signed in the lower margin. In Excellent condition.
