    Bernie Wrightson - Frankenstein Plate Preliminary Artwork Original Art (1977). In this preliminary study for the first plate in Wrightson's 1983 classic Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley's Frankenstein, Captain Walton is strapped to the mast of his ship in the midst of the storm that eventually leads him to Dr. Frankenstein. Signed by Wrightson at the bottom of the page. The image area measures 9.5" x 14". Done in graphite on paper, and in Excellent condition.
