    Description

Archie Goodwin Creepy #9 "Overworked!" Story Preliminary Original Art (Warren, 1966). Writer Archie Goodwin's preliminary layout for the six-page story "Overworked!" was sent to Wally Wood (and his assistant Dan Adkins) to work from. Their collaboration, starting from this layout, brought about the classic tale of a comic artist consumed by his work. Rendered in graphite on vellum taped to paper with an image area of 8" x 7.5". The age-toned piece has a fold crease between the columns, pinholes at the top, ink spotting on the sides, with smudging and handling wear. In Very Good condition.
