DescriptionAmazing Spider-Man #121 Splash Page 20 Color Guide Production Art (Marvel, 1973). "The Night Gwen Stacy Died." Marvel had to put the splash/title page at the end of the story or give away the big shock of the issue... and what a shock it was. This key issue was a huge moment in comic book history. It was almost unheard of for a major supporting character to be so definitively killed off, and inadvertently at the hero's hand. This production page is the original hand-colored watercolor guide by David Hunt and the page is signed by the inker John Romita Sr. The image area measures 6" x 9" on paper. In Excellent condition.
