Description
Milo Manara Un e´te´ indien (Indian Summer) Original Art (Nantier Beall Minoustchine, 1983). A page from first result of the collaboration between the narrative genius of Italian comic creator, Hugo Pratt, and the unmistakable talent of Italian comic master, artist Milo Manara. Manara considered Pratt as a mentor and the two would team up again almost a decade later for El Gaucho (1991). Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 18" x 24.5". The page is done on three separate pieces of Bristol taped together on the back, with whiteout marks. The text is lightly toned paste-ups, the second panel has a text paste-up missing leaving adhesive residue, the fourth panel has adhesive residue around the text paste-up, there are faint smudges, a minor crease to the top right corner, adhesive residue with slight surface dirt on the top left edge, and on the bottom third Bristol the tape is sliced and is close to detaching.
