Mike Zeck and John Beatty Captain America #283 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1983). Viper looms large over our heroes on this great looking cover by fan-favorite Cap-artist, Mike Zeck! Jack Monroe is in his Nomad (II) costume. He was previously ret-conned as the 1950's "Bucky II". He would continue as Nomad (an identity Captain America had original created) until the real Bucky would return as the Winter Soldier. Sadly, Jack Monroe was one of Winter Soldier's first victims in that storyline. As a huge bonus, this page is signed by Editor-in-Chief Jim Shooter in the "Approval" box at the bottom. This image is produced in ink and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". Some of the Zipatone is a bit loose, but intact. Slight tanning, with some corner wear, otherwise in Very Good condition.
