Mike Grell and Joe Rubinstein - Superman Reimagined Commission Illustration Original Art (c. 1980s). A super reinterpretation of the Man of Steel by Mike Grell. The artist is well-remembered for his turn on the Legion of Super-Heroes, where he drew some fairly racy costumes on some of the male characters. This version's "Superboy" would have fit right in! Rendered in ink over graphite on 11.5" x 15.5" First Comics Bristol board. He measures 12" from fist to cape tip. Signed by Grell and Rubinstein in the image area. The Bristol board has been affixed to a same-sized illustration board. In Excellent condition.
