Description

Matt Baker Journey into Fear #1 "Preview of Chaos!" Page 9 Original Art (Superior Publishers Limited, 1951) This story originally started life as a Black Condor story for the Iger Shop. The story was never published. When horror comic hit a boom in the Pre-Code days, Jerry Iger dusted off this unused story, had the artwork altered to remove any appearance of Black Condor in costume. His alter ego of Tom Wright stayed the same, even his name was not changed! An incredible page from Matt Baker, produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12" by 18". Slight tanning on page. Otherwise in Excellent condition.
