Marc Silvestri and Dan Green Uncanny X-Men #221 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1987). Havok is letting Wolverine have it on this great cover from the same issue that featured the very first appearance of Mr. Sinister! The X-Men were still at the top of most comic readers' pile at this time, and Silvestri was one of the hot-shot break-out artists of the day. Within just a few years, he would be a founding member of Image Comics. This cover is ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". Signed by Editor in Chief Jim Shooter and artist Marc Silvestri in the bottom margin. Logo and masthead are original paste-up and intact. Very slight tanning with pinholes in top margin and minor corner wear. There is a minor crease near center of Havok's chest, likely done during production when the artist used a compass for concentric lines. Overall in Excellent condition.
