    Description

Lee Brown Coye - A Parade of Union Soldiers Sketch Original Art (c. 1940s). A sketch by renown pulp and horror fiction magazine artist Lee Brown Coye. A patriotic image of Union soldiers marching past celebrating townspeople with a large American flag, a nice example of Coye's stylized illustrations which gained him much acclaim when it came to his images of the macabre. Rendered in graphite on paper with an image area of 28.25" x 13". The age-toned piece is creased through the middle, left edge trimming and creasing around the flag, with graphite smudging and overall wear. In Very Good condition.
