    L. B. Cole Four Color #223 Walt Disney's Donald Duck "Lost in the Andes" Cover Re-Creation #1 Original Art (1980). Creator of more than 1,500 covers, brilliant wildlife artist, and pioneering comic book publisher -- L. B. Cole remains a towering figure in the field of comic book art. The back of his iridescent Carl Barks re-creation notes, "Number 1," and the note is dated November 2, 1980, and signed by Cole. This mixed media on board piece has an image area of 11" x 15.75", and aside from some slight bowing to the board, it is in Excellent condition.
