    Description

Keith Pollard and Mike Esposito Amazing Spider-Man #186 Story Page 22 Original Art (Marvel, 1978). The wall-crawler holds a press conference in Central Park to bask in the glow of his freedom! But an old adversary disrupts Spidey's joyous occasion! Pollard provided the breakdowns, and Esposito handled all the finished art chores. A wonderful page from the tail-end of Marvel's glorious Bronze Age. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". There are some whiteout corrections, the top corners are trimmed, paper scuffs in the top border, dust shadows along the edge, and handing wear. In Very Good condition.

I have done a preliminary analysis and the total of the hammer prices was $67,550. With BP, the final figure was $80,722.25. That is against the total insurance value of $34,785 or 2.32 x ‘pre-auction estimate’. Incredible, really, so a big thanks.
