    Description

    Jorge Longaron Friday Foster Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 5-17-70 (Chicago Tribune, 1970). This series starred a black female lead, making it quite an unusual comic strip for the time. The series was rich in fashion, intrigue, international settings, and adventure! Crafted in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 19.5" x 13.25", matted to 22" x 18.25". The logo is a stat paste-up and there are numerous pasted-on text corrections. A couple of text paste-ups have slipped off the page but are included (and are slightly toned). In Very Good condition.
