Johnny Craig Vault of Horror #26 Cover Original Art (EC, 1952). A pre-Code beauty! A true stunner of a piece, just full of that wonderful Johnny Craig detail you would expect. This classic EC cover is one we have never previously offered, so we expect some EC fan-addicts to be very excited to get a chance to own it! The gorgeous piece was crafted twice-up scale in ink with red ink key lines over graphite on EC Bristol board with an image area of 13.5" x 19.25" (including the reproduction stat paste-up header/logo). The insets of the Vault-Keeper, Old Witch, and Crypt-Keeper are all modern day reproduction paste-up stats. The red ink key lines have toned to a dark reddish-brown color. Signed by Craig in the lower right. The board itself is clean and sharp. In Excellent condition.
