John Severin and Bill Elder Two-Fisted Tales #22 Partial Story "Chicken" Original Art Group (EC, 1951). Pages 2-7 of the story are included in this lot. The distinctive layouts of Harvey Kurtzman are in evidence here, particularly on the last page, and actually the same could be said for the lettering of Ben Oda. This is a cautionary tale about leaders who don't listen to those who serve them! Each page has an image area of 13" x 18". Two pages have small tears sealed with tape, and page 6 has a larger (2-inch) tear that extends into the art. Very Good condition. From the Gary Arlington Collection.Auction Info
