    Description

    John Romita Sr. - Men's Magazine Illustration Original Art (c. 1970s). In the 1970s, Marvel Comics publisher Martin Goodman also published a line of "men's adventure" magazines. They contained very manly stories of war, crime, torture, and lurid women. These are two spot illustrations for a story in one of those magazines. They are produced in ink over graphite on 14.5" x 8.5" Bristol board, each with an image area of 6.5" x 6.5". Signed by Romita in the lower right margin, there is a small area of residue from missing Zipatone, otherwise in Excellent condition.
