John Romita Jr. and Tony DeZuniga Marvel Classics Comics #33 - The Prince and the Pauper Cover Original Art (Marvel Comics, 1978). Here is an interesting cover from the Marvel Classics Comics adaptation of The Prince and the Pauper by Mark Twain. John Romita Jr.'s pencils and Tony DeZuniga's inks are a knock-out for this swashbuckling action shot. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". The board is toned, and the header, logo, and text are stat paste-ups, with production and residue staining, and handling wear. There are two George Pérez signatures on the piece, for reasons unknown. Mr. Pérez himself has said that he did not work on this cover and that the signature(s) appear to be fake. In Very Good condition overall.
