John Byrne and Terry Austin Uncanny X-Men #143 Page 12 Original Art (Marvel, 1981). The huge first panel has one of the key moments from a very memorable story! It was a sad day for comicdom, if not the world, when penciler Byrne and inker Austin left the X-Men title, and this was their final issue. They went out on a high note showing Kitty Pryde, alone in the mansion, being relentlessly pursued by a N'Garai demon. This page marks the first time that Kitty saw the demon, and also the first time in the story the monster was clearly shown full-figure. The large panel was reprinted in the X-Men Companion Volume 2. Signed by both artists in panel one. This piece has an image area of 10" x 15". The image area is sunstruck, though only slightly. There's minor handling wear, and three corners are clipped. Very Good condition.
