John Byrne and Terry Austin Uncanny X-Men #142 Story Page 17 Original Art (Marvel, 1981). From the second part of the landmark story "Days of Future Past", a key page in the history of Marvel Comics and the character of Wolverine in particular... panel one happens right after the scene that was the inspiration for the cover image and it is the first ever glimpse at exactly what Wolverine's "adamantium laced skeleton" looks like. The cover blurb did say "This Issue: Everybody Dies!", remember? The page appeared as story page 17, however with ads it was page 23 in the issue. It was produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The page is signed by both writer Chris Claremont, and artist John Byrne in the bottom margin. Aside from marked overall paper aging, clipped corners (outside the image area), taped-in lettering corrections in the caption at the bottom of the last panel, and a stain in the upper margin, the art is in Very Good condition.
