On this page from "Day of the Godslayer!", Count Nefaria's newly acquired powers have transformed the Maggia crime boss into a villainous Superman analog, and he is out for vengeance against the Avengers. The mighty Thor and Vision are both taken down with unexpected ease. Seismic hero action detailed by John Byrne early in his Marvel career. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Signed by John Byrne in Panel 3. The top two panels are a separate piece of Bristol taped from the back, and the top corners are trimmed. The page number and "continued..." are stat paste-ups and a whiteout text correction in Panel 6. In Very Good condition.
