Description

John Buscema and Joe Sinnott Shanna, The She-Devil #3 Cover Original Art (Marvel Comics, 1973). A dangerous cover sets this issue's tone, with a charging bull running down Shanna. Created in ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". There is blue pencil on the text balloons, the title and text are paste-ups, the title has a slice on the right edge which cuts the Bristol and is taped on the back with masking tape. A lightly toning title has tape on the top edge and over the issue number, some text paste-ups are missing leaving adhesive residue, there are some adhesive residue spots on the left side, hard creases on the corners, creases and light smudges around the margins, a light tape pull and pinholes in the top margin, minor surface dirt on the bottom left corner, and tears on the side edges (the largest is a 1" tear on the right edge). A copy of the comic is included. In Very Good condition.
