    Description

Joe Kubert Star Spangled War Stories #138 Story Page 7 Enemy Ace Original Art (DC, 1968). An intense dogfight page from the story "The Slayers and the Slain!" The technical jargon on this page shows that writer Robert Kanigher had a real understanding on these beautiful World War I warbirds! Also of note, that fantastic last panel close-up of Hans Van Hammer's eyes. Pure Kubert magic! Crafted in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The page is lightly toned, and was production hole-punched in the top and bottom margins. Overall, in Excellent condition.
