Joe Kubert Showcase #102 Hawkman and Adam Strange Cover Original Art (DC, 1978). Hawkman and Adam Strange team up to save Alanna on this exciting Joe Kubert masterpiece. A nice little nod of the head to Adam Strange's old magazine is the Strange Adventures logo stat in the lower right corner. The cover was rendered in ink over graphite on 9.75" x 15" Bristol board. This was then affixed to a regular sheet of DC/Sparta cover stock Bristol board. The DC bullet, logo, price/issue, CCA stamp, and all cover text are stat paste-ups. Signed by Kubert just above the UPC box. The stats are discolored, with glue residue near them and on the artwork in places (Hawkman's foot). In Very Good condition.
