    Description

Jim Starlin and Al Milgrom Captain Marvel #30 Story Page 17 Original Art (Marvel, 1974). A fearsome shot of Thanos, who kills his minion the Controller for being on the verge of losing a fight with Captain Marvel. The page was created in ink with white paint highlights over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". There is quite a bit of white paint highlights used in Panels 1 and 2 to great effect! Between that, and the Mar-Vellous linework in Panel 3, this is a truly stunning page. It is signed by Starlin in the lower left margin, and also by letterer Tom Orzechowski in the lower margin. The Conan plug is held on with production tape. The toned page has a bit of production oil on the lower left, and a bit of production tape residue in the side margins. In Very Good condition.
