    Jim Davis Garfield Sunday Comic Strip Preliminary Original Art Group of 17 (United Feature Syndicate, 2002). This box includes 17 prelims Sundays from 2002. Five of these are full Sunday prelims. A couple more are panels or portions of a Sunday. Then there are 10 Logo panel designs on onionskin paper. The bulk of the box contents are photocopies of these and other Sundays from this period. Each Garfield comic strip is born from these initial sketches conceived by Jim Davis and his comic strip creative team. The logo panel prelims are graphite, ink, and blue pencil on onionskin paper sections. They have approximate image sizes of 12.25" x 3.75". They have been folded and are in Very Good condition. The Sunday prelims were created in blue pencil on 11" x 8.5" paper and are in Excellent condition. From the Jim Davis Collection.
