    Jim Davis Garfield Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 1-9-79 (United Feature Syndicate, 1979). A strip from the first year of publication! As the series started in June of 1978, it wasn't even a year old yet. Who doesn't love dressing up a cat? Garfield doesn't! Created in ink and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 14" x 4". Signed in the first panel. Excellent condition. From the Jim Davis Collection.
