    Description

Two inseparable friends, fresh out of flight school, made their appearance in PILOTE magazine in its first issue back in 1959. They were eventually to become commanders Michel Tanguy and Ernest Laverdure. As much as the first is courageous and serious, the second is eccentric, boastful, and inclined to be distracted by a pretty girl. Very nice inking and large panels. An added art bonus on the back is a beautiful image of a completely inked soldier. Ink on three conjoined pieces of Bristol, joined on the back with paper tape. The image area measures ??17" x 20.5". There is tape residue on the edges. In Very Good condition.
