Description

Jesse Marsh - Tarzan #135, page 2 Original Art (Gold Key, 1963). Jesse Marsh's Tarzan is fondly recalled by many Baby Boomers. Why? Because Marsh drew the feature for 18 years, and his depictions of animals, jungle scenery, and the African culture won him many fans. Marsh's style has a directness that appeals to other cartoonists. His admirers include Alex Toth and Gilbert Hernandez. Tarzan confers with his friend Muviro, in this page scripted by Gaylord DuBois. The overall paper measures 14.5" x 21.75", while the image area is approximately 12" x 18". The word balloons are pasted-on art additions; otherwise the art is in Very Good condition.
