    Description

Jerry Robinson Crime Exposed #13 Christmas-Themed Story Page 5 Original Art (Marvel Comics, 1952). Robinson's station in history would be assured even if he had stepped away from comics after introducing such Batman linchpin characters as the Joker and Robin the Boy Wonder. Robinson persisted as an all-'round comics artist, a political satirist, and an activist for creators' rights. His pre-Comics Code stint at Marvel yielded such superb pages as this crime-buster sequence, featuring a mob whose leader masquerades as Santa Claus. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 12" x 18". Excellent condition.
