Jack Kirby and Paul Reinman X-Men Vol 1 #5
Iconic Story End Page 24 Original Art (Marvel, 1964). "Trapped:
One X-Man." We are thrilled to present to you a legendary original
page from the very first adventures of the X-Men by Jack Kirby
(art) and Stan Lee (story), a magical team, and the definitive duo
of the Marvel universe. In this story, fighting causes extensive
damage to Asteroid M. Cyclops is trapped in a section of the
asteroid that breaks off, and Iceman has to create the ice tunnel
seen in Panel 1 so that Angel can rescue Cyclops. Before the
asteroid is fully destroyed, the X-Men use the capsule to return to
Earth. Upon returning to the mansion, they try to tell Professor
Xavier what had occurred. Professor Xavier informs them that he was
able to follow everything because he did not lose his telepathy!
Since the X-Men performed this solo mission perfectly, they pass
their final exams and their training is over. This mythical closing
phrase, "Congratulations, my X-Men," said by Professor
Xavier to the X-Men, truly began the era of the adventures of the
X-Men as a group. This X-Men #5 final page is truly a
must-have for any collector and X-Men enthusiast! Truly unique! Ink
on Bristol paper with an image area of ??12.5" x 18.5". Whiteout.
Note the board has some creasing, including a crease through the
bottom image area of the first three panels. The back of the board
has some professional reinforcement. Marvel production stamp, dated

Les combats causent des dommages importants à l'astéroïde M, ce qui provoque son effondrement. Cyclope est piégé dans une section de l'astéroïde. Afin de le secourir, Iceman crée un tunnel de glace pour qu'Angel puisse sauver Cyclope. Avant que l'astéroïde ne soit complètement détruit, les X-Men utilisent le vaisseau pour retourner sur Terre. De retour au manoir, ils essaient d'expliquer au professeur Xavier ce qui s'est passé. Le professeur Xavier les informe que son pouvoir télépathique lui a permis de tout suivre à distance ! Les X-Men ayant parfaitement exécuté cette mission solo, l'examen final et leur formation sont terminés. Cette phrase de fin mythique, Congratulations, my X-Men, adressée par le Professeur Xavier aux X-Men, a véritablement fait débuter l'ère des aventures des X-Men en tant que groupe. Cette planche de fin du numéro 5 est réellement un must have pour tout collectionneur et passionné des X-Men! Unique ! Encre de Chine sur papier Bristol avec une superficie d'image de 32 x 47,5 cm. White out. Noter deux plis de production, y compris un pli à travers la zone d'image inférieure des trois premiers panneaux. Le dos de la planche présente un renfort de qualité d'époque. Cachet de production Marvel, daté 1963. En Très Bonne condition.
