    Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers Tales to Astonish #83 Splash Page 1 Sub-Mariner Original Art (Marvel, 1966). Imperious Rex! Namor is flying right atcha on this beautiful Kirby splash page for the story "The Sub-Mariner Strikes!" Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18.5". The top header paste-up is missing, and Lady Dorma's arm has been cut and repositioned at the time of creation. There is a piece of index card taped from the back and re-inked to fill the gap. Her arm is the original piece of art from the page. The page is lightly tanned and in Very Good condition.
