Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers Journey Into Mystery #85 Page 4 Original Art (Marvel, 1962). One of the earliest transformation scenes of Don Blake becoming the God of Thunder! This issue was just the third appearance of Thor and the very first appearance of Loki (that's him disguised as a mortal in the final panel). This early masterwork, from the dawn of the Marvel Age of Heroes, has an image area of 12.5" x 18.5", and the art is in Excellent condition. There is a slight glue stain in panel two -- a stat with "negative" images of the bystanders was evidently pasted on top of the art to produce the effect seen in the comic.
