Jack Kirby and Bill Everett Tales To Astonish #83 Hulk Splash Page Original Art (Marvel, 1966). The mighty Hulk towers over Betty Ross in this impressive splash page. The Hulk never looked better than this collaboration between two artistic giants, Jack Kirby and Bill Everett. Both gentlemen were there at the dawn of the Golden Age comic books, and were both going strong during Marvel's glorious Silver Age. The art is in ink, graphite, and white out on Bristol board, with an image area of 12.5" x 18.5". The right side of the image (with Betty) was drawn on separate pieces of Bristol; a small portion of that original replacement art showing the wall of the cave Hulk had just created has dropped off, leaving a glue stain; there are also a few dark spill stains, the most noticeable one on the exclamation point in the story's title, but the page still displays nicely, and is in overall Very Good condition.
