    Description

Jack Davis Superfan ... Again! Cover Original Art (New American Library, 1974). Davis makes a monumental mockery of the football racket in this pneumatic knockout for the second volume of his and Nick Meglin's MAD-style satirical epic. The pump-jockey at lower left is the nerdly Y.A. Schmickle, quarterback for the Metropolis Smoggers. Ink and watercolor over graphite on textured illustration board with an image area of 6.25" x 7.5". Light toning. Excellent condition. From the Nick Meglin Collection.

More information about Jack Davis, also known as Davis, Jack, Jack B. Davis, Jack Burton Davis.
