Description
Will Eisner The Spirit Magazine #8 The Spirit's Women Club Header Illustration Original Art (1975). Here comes The Spirit, surrounded by his iconic female co-stars, in the only illustration of this type we know of, as only Will Eisner could depict them! Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 6.5". An acetate sheet featuring the greytone overlay work, along with a sheet of tracing paper containing editorial notes, are affixed to the top edge of the board with adhesive tape. The board shows mild toning, with more pronounced toning in the margins, and exhibits light handling wear. Signed and dated. In Very Good condition.More information about Will Eisner.
