Wayne Boring - Superman Illustration Original Art (1982). Wayne Boring revisits the character he helped define during the Golden Age, as Superman comes in for a landing, much to the delight of a group of kids, with the Metropolis skyline and the iconic Daily Planet building rising above the trees in the background. Mixed media on Bristol board with an image area of 11.5" x 14". Cut tape at the top of the board on the reverse lightly peeks over the top edge, with toning, handling wear, and a spot stain in the lower margin. Signed and dated, and in Excellent condition.
